Description:
Division Overview:
The Programmatic Partnerships Team drives programmatic revenue across the CBS Interactive network, working with direct clients, agencies, and third-party partners (e. g. SSPs, DSPs, ATDs, etc) to activate demand and partnering with the global sales teams to execute programmatic ad campaigns.

Role Details:
Located in NYC, the Programmatic Sales Account Manager plays an integral role in supporting the CBSi sales team with planning, executing and monitoring the programmatic advertising programs of CBS Interactive's customer base

The Account Manager  will work across closely with the CBSi Programmatic Sales team to ensure flawless campaign planning and execution, as well as provide optimal client service support for the internal CBSi site-side sales teams and the CBSi programmatic sales accounts

The Account Manager will be a key day to day for CBSi’s programmatic partners and advertisers, providing support for their campaigns and deals. This includes: preparing proposals and client presentations, collecting and presenting research information, providing the clients with information concerning CBSi programmatic strategy and offerings (including rates, advertising creative / technical specifications); and working closely with clients and partners to maximize the effectiveness and revenue potential of their programmatic deals and campaigns

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Support the education and evangelization of  CBSi’s programmatic strategy, best practices, and offerings both internally and externally, serving as a key expert for programmatic business trends, best practices, and ad technologies 
  • Help build relationships and increase communication of CBSi programmatic capabilities to media agencies, direct advertisers, trading desks, DSPs, and SSPs for both direct DR and programmatic channels
  • Support the CBSi programmatic sales efforts as a subject matter expert, evangelist and sales resource, working with a cross-functional team of company stakeholders (Sales, Product Marketing, Operations, Revenue Operations, etc) to drive revenue growth
  • Responsible for helping set, track and achieve quarterly sales revenue goals for US programmatic guaranteed and PMP campaigns
  • Manage and closely monitor CBSi’s programmatic campaigns/deals to ensure optimal delivery, track performance and proactively make optimization recommendations
  • Provide clients/CBSi sales with any necessary campaign support including deal reporting and troubleshooting
  • Engage regularly with the Programmatic Operations and Product teams managing revenue recognition and internal sales reporting and forecasting

  • This candidate will be part of one of the fastest growing sales teams across the entire CBS Interactive portfolio
Qualifications:
What you bring to the team:
  • A BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience
  • 2+ years proven advertising sales experience with 3-5 years in the programmatic space
  • Programmatic-savvy expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit who will thrive in a team, solution selling and goal oriented environment
  • A solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and current industry trends in display, video, and native
  • A strong desire to win and grow as a sales professional
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills 
  • An ability to solution sell to both business and technical audiences
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • An ability to manage stress well, and juggle multiple account challenges at once
  • An extremely detail oriented approach with strong analytical thinking, negotiation, strategic problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
