Brand Overview:
Entertainment Tonight is launching an interactive streaming news network delivering celebrity, pop culture and lifestyle content and premium video.  It will be available live and on-demand 24/7 via our app, OTT, desktop, mobile and across social platforms. We strive to have our original reporting and exclusive access drive the conversation.

Role Details:
We’re looking for an organized and efficient Production Manager to take a leadership role in building a pioneering new digital network. The right candidate will work with the Executive Producer and Senior Staff to coordinate logistics, schedules, budgets and people. While our initial focus will be constructing a technical operation and developing a staff, the greater mission is to embrace new technologies and constantly evolve our systems, structures and workflows to optimize content.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Coordinate scheduling for all editorial and technical personnel
  • Work with finance team to manage unit accounting, including setting and tracking budgets
  • Arrange and oversee contractors/vendors and maintain ongoing relationships
  • Organize and manage field production logistics, including crew booking, site surveys, travel and accreditation
  • Coordinate with HR team on personnel issues, including onboarding new hires
  • Assign and track the distribution of equipment
  • Assist EP and Senior Staff in executing creative vision and streamlining workflows
  • Provide production support on breaking news or special events projects
What you bring to the team:
  • 3 years+ experience in television Production Management, with duties including scheduling and budgeting
  • Experience planning field shoots/off-site remotes and managing crews
  • Working knowledge of data & asset management tool systems
  • Deep understanding of broadcast/digital video standards and technology
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, including event coverage
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

You might also have –
  • History of digital production, including producing content in different ways for different platforms
  • Knowledge of transmission/Master Control operations
  • Experience with video playout systems (e.g. Crispin, Grassvalley K2)
  • Familiarity with IT systems, including networking concepts and language
