This role is within the CNET Media Group (CMG) organization, home to the biggest brands in publishing: CNET, Gamespot, TV Guide, Metacritic and many more. Role Details:
This PM supports product development for all CMG’s native apps on mobile (iOS and Android) and OTT (tvOS, Android TV). The apps team is uniquely positioned within the company, serving the most loyal users for all CMG brands, and as such, the PM’s central aim is to execute strategies to attract and retain these superfans to our portfolio of apps. 

The role calls for a highly-organized individual, who can take inputs from multiple stakeholders on multiple brands, synthesize a clear product vision from those inputs, then evangelize and consistently execute against that vision.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Manage and prioritize the apps roadmap
  • Define product experiences with design
  • Write and maintain detailed product requirement specs
  • Assist with QA to ensure those requirements are met
  • Closely collaborate with engineering to manage resources and scope to ensure effective execution against deadlines
  • Gather feedback from and communicate status updates to stakeholders, particularly Growth & Engagement, Integrated Marketing, and Affiliate teams
  • Develop quantitative hypotheses for new projects, and analyze data to see if projects meet success criteria, and/or to investigate unexplained increases/decrease to KPIs

  • 2+ years of consumer product management experience (candidates with less / more experience may be considered for Associate PM / Senior PM roles)
  • Analytics expertise (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Looker, etc.)
