The Marketing Manager Operations, Email will be passionate about email, analytics, and driving measurable results. The Marketing Manager Operations, Email will coordinate the development and growth of the email marketing program. This position will assist in the responsibility for all aspects of planning and execution including calendar management, creative development schedule, production, deployment and analytics.

The successful candidate will excel at supporting cross-team communications and processes to deliver measurable, error-free campaigns and projects on time. He or she will build best-practice processes that balance between flexibility and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to creative and development teams to make sure email messages are properly built to adhere to industry best practices. Emails must be optimized for deliverability, mobile rendering and best possible open rates.
Support the execution of email production process and creation of all emails, including meticulous QA of the programs and campaigns, recommending changes in strategy where appropriate and ensuring flawless execution. This will also include rendering testing of all versions of each email campaign to improve email performance.
Support the email request process and coordinate timeline and deliverables with all proper channels.
Be accountable for the email project workflow, manage the team to deadlines and gather proper approval.
Partner with marketing operations manager at the finish of the campaign to report on results and provide recommendations for additional sends. Understand milestones, success metrics, reporting requirements and segmentation where necessary.
Experience in setting up email campaigns and deployments with ExactTarget is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree.
Email marketing experience with minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in high-volume email marketing environment.
Proven understanding of email best practices and broad knowledge of digital marketing to ensure email messages are properly developed to meet industry standards
Must be a driven individual who can multi-tasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment with experience using email marketing platforms to create a campaign from beginning to end
Proficient with HTML
Ability to work under firm deadlines and within a rapidly changing environment.
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Must be a self-motivated thought-leader with a can-do attitude
Experience supporting or assisting ecommerce or subscription services is a plus
Experience setting up campaigns is a must have
Must successfully pass a background check
