Description:
Division Overview:
We are searching for a Digital Marketing Manager to manage marketing planning and execution for our ongoing and new awareness and traffic driving campaigns .  We’re looking for someone who is passionate about media, has strong analytical skills and is interested in working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.  

Role Details:
This role requires experience in integrated digital marketing promotional tactics across online property.  This position is charged with driving awareness and traffic that garner revenue across our digital properties.  To achieve the above goals, this position will work closely with cross-functional teams from within CBSi.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Plan and oversee execution of integrated campaigns to drive traffic across online marketing channels including, CBS websites, Email, Paid Search and Display, OTT, Social Media, Mobile, and more.  
  • Develop new ideas to test and optimize response rates and ROI.  Strive to continuously improve online metrics across key sources of business (testing marketing variables including offer, copy/messaging, targeting and segmentation, and creative).
  • Analyze data and communicate insights that assist in optimizing response rates, ROI, and online metrics across key sources of business (testing marketing variables including copy/messaging, targeting and segmentation, and creative).
  • Work with internal teams, including design, product, content strategy, editorial and social, to promote content that meets internal and sales obligations.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Product teams to develop, update and improve reporting that tracks KPIs and business metrics to uncover actionable trends, insights and forecasts.
  • Help coordinate internal resources based on priorities and objectives.


Key Projects:
  • Pitch, plan and execute A/B tests across various marketing outlets including email, search, and CBS.com home and show pages, in an effort to stay innovative across the digital landscape and delivery against goals creatively and effectively.
  • Responsible for managing the marketing budget and expenses, working closely with finance, tracking monthly, quarterly and year-end marketing and email campaign reconciliations, creating new processes for more efficiency.
  • Work with Network partners to execute cohesive and coordinated digital marketing efforts are efficiently running and being planned for, in particular for tentpole events, like Fall Premieres, GRAMMYs, Finales, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years marketing or advertising experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of marketing principles, processes, tools, techniques, and marketing campaign planning
Knowledge of email marketing
Experience with paid media across social, search and display outlets
Knowledge of all current and future trends in digital marketing and communications platforms and applications
Experience with campaign analysis, performance data review and optimization tactics
Knowledge of digital and social media analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights)
Ability to multi-task
Project and time management/organizational skills
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Flexibility/adaptability
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of cloud-based file sharing programs
