Division Overview: 
Our Marketing, Distribution & Operations team within the CBS Digital Media group is charged with distribution and monetization of premium CBS content across the spectrum of digital partnerships and business models. These include our direct-to-consumer subscription service CBS All Access, ad-supported streaming across our CBS digital properties and CBS Audience Network partner sites such as YouTube, MSN and Yahoo, transactional digital storefronts such as iTunes and Amazon as well as digital MVPD products and partnerships.

Role Details: 
We are a diverse and agile group that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we deliver CBS content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume it.

Your Day-to-Day: 
  • Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective direct response copy concepts
  • Assist in the creation and testing of copy for onsite marketing assets, emails, social media and more
  • Work with customer acquisition and retention teams to: deliver direct, straightforward, compelling copy for a variety of campaigns and user segments
  • Write strong subject lines and calls to action to drive engagement and conversion
  • Be strategically minded, providing a range of options for testing themes and positioning
  • Understand the CBS All Access product experience and audience to effectively engage the target audience and convey the brand.
  • Collaborate with all marketing partners to align with our best practices, guidelines and style guide.

Key Projects: 
Upcoming projects include:
  • Applying newly defined brand voice and tone to all existing and future marketing assets
  • Collaborating with the newly created social care team to help craft some of the canned responses
What you bring to the team:
You have-
  • 5+ years of experience in a previous marketing copywriting role creating compelling direct response sales copy with strong calls to action targeted to customer acquisition, retention, and engagement – and proven results.
  • Experience in marketing or marketing copywriting required
  • Experience with entertainment and/or streaming services preferable
  • Experience writing copy for digital products and cross-channel digital marketing campaigns
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work and be flexible in fast paced environment
