The Social Analytics & Insights Manager will play a critical role within the CBS Interactive content and marketing team. This role will be responsible for extracting insights to evaluate current strategies, defining and tracking social KPIs, and assessing all campaign performances. 

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Lead all social reporting including, but not limited to, post performance, content type analysis, and sentiment analysis 
  • Create reporting templates to serve data to various departments 
  • Distill complex social media data into actionable insights 
  • Attend social and content programming meetings
  • Manage 2 social analysts

Key Projects: 
  • Perform in depth content analysis and give strategic recommendations based on these insights to editorial, video and social teams
  • Create competitor analysis reports for daytime, primetime and late night programming
  • Spot emerging trends in the social landscape and identify social consumption trends 
  • Create show and content specific benchmarks based on historical data
  • Work with Business Intelligence team to create automated reporting tools to better serve data in a timely and efficient manner

You have –
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years relevant working experience in social analytics with demonstrated experience translating social data into strategic insights
  • Strong proficiency with social media tools such as Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Nielsen Social, Sprinklr, and Spredfast
  • Passion for learning and understanding what makes fans take certain actions within social media 
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines

You might also have - 
  • Experience working in the Entertainment industry with an understanding of marketing goals and tactics
  • Passion for television and social media
  • 1+ years in a management role
