Division Overview:
The Programmatic Partnerships Team drives programmatic revenue across the CBS Interactive network, working with direct clients, agencies, and third party partners (e.g. SSPs, DSPs, ATDs, ad networks etc) to activate demand and partnering with the global sales teams to execute programmatic ad campaigns.  

Role Details:
  • The Lead Programmatic Manager, Mobile position plays an integral role in supporting CBSi’s revenue growth, strategy and new partnership development.
  • The Lead Programmatic Manager, Mobile plays an integral role in supporting top line revenue growth and strategy by researching and identifying new revenue driving partnerships, products, services and technologies across the CBS Interactive mobile app portfolio. This role will work closely with external partners as well as internal stakeholders to provide insight and analysis that assists with the growth of our digital monetization efforts and new partnership development.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Source and advance new opportunities from new and existing and mobile app monetization partners (focused on  SSPs, exchanges, and ad networks) to hit indirect revenue quota
  • Communicate mobile app advertising ecosystem needs to key internal stakeholders
  • Craft high level business models and develop hypotheses to help teams assess value of mobile app opportunities
  • Work directly with partners to communicate CBSi mobile brands and services to partners, outlining potential partnership opportunities
  • Evolve measurements/tracking of partnerships and revenue initiatives, including forecasts and models to predict revenue growth and optimizations.
  • Develop presentations as needed to support new business and opportunity review with internal teams. Build and maintain valuation and financial models
  • Provide guidance on implementation of technology based on partnership agreements
  • Research emerging monetization trends, technology and business models to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Ad Operations teams to execute partnerships and define key performance indicators
  • Track and communicate key industry trends, analysis and actionable insights to help business development team assess best partnership opportunities particularly regarding expansion opportunities, emerging technologies, market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Actively participate in enhancing Business Development information data sources, knowledge management repositories, and processes.
What you bring to the team:
You have –
  • 5-7 years of interactive advertising or marketing experience and/or business development experience, with 2+ experience in mobile app sales/marketing experience
  • Knowledge of the programmatic mobile app landscape – including technology (SDK, adapters, mediation), techniques, partners (SSPs, Ad Networks,etc) and business models
  • Strong understanding of mobile programmatic buying and formats: rich media, video, native
  • Must have a solid track record in business and financial analysis, presentation of new ideas and partner engagements
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to address business and technical audiences
  • Strong analytical thinking, strategic problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proactive behavior to challenges and ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic atmosphere
