Role Details:
SportsLine, a premium US sports property is seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead the team into the next evolution of sports gambling. In doing so he/she will drive the SportsLine product strategy and operation towards commercial success in season-long / daily fantasy and online sports gambling. 

Reporting directly to the SVP of Product Management & Operations, and working closely with the SportsLine GM , the Director of Product Management is responsible for product strategy, planning, delivery and marketing throughout the SportsLine product lifecycle. He/she will develop a product vision and roadmap to grow the business based on input from internal stakeholders, audience, market research and their own sports data and gambling insights. The Product Management Director will work closely with Engineering, UX Design, Acquisition Marketing, Editorial and additional stakeholders to deliver products aligned to this vision, meet market needs and a high-quality standard.  

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Mine for subscriber and revenue growth opportunities informed by market direction, behavioral data and consumer insights
  • Be the recognized expert in the business on the SportsLine product, online sports gambling market and related technologies / regulations for the US market
  • Establish, monitor, and improve product performance against KPIs aligned to SportsLine and CBS Sports’ broader business objectives
  • Deliver a regular product, audience and monetization pacing updates to the senior management team
  • Operate the product throughout its lifecycle from concept, through development to end-of-life for the portfolio of SportsLine sites, apps and services
  • Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases
  • Validate solutions against audience growth, engagement, retention and quality criteria
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships in the sports data and gambling markets
  • Run trials and MVPs, develop and deliver go to market launch plans
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for the SportsLine product line
