CBS Interactive is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our ad product management team. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work closely with members of Engineering, Product Marketing, Yield Management, Design, and outside vendors to manage the development of new, scalable online ad products on our properties such as, CBS Sports, CBS News, CNET, Download, GameSpot, TVGuide,, ZDNet, Techrepublic and Chowhound. The ideal candidate possesses project management skills, a technical aptitude, the ability to bridge business needs and technical functionality, and strong problem-solving skills. He/she thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and excels in effectively prioritizing and managing multiple advertising products.

Manage ad product development projects across CBS Interactive brands from ideation to productization
Define development schedules and milestones, and communicate project scope, schedules, and deadlines in a cross functional environment
Document ad product specifications, functional requirements, and processes. Consult on technical feasibility with a strong understanding of market requirements and business implications
Support Product Managers with projects and sponsorship developments as well as ad product lifecycle management
2 years of product/project management experience
Energetic self-starter with a positive “can-do” attitude
Strong analytical, problem solving, and creative-thinking skills
Strong organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to hold and conduct effective meetings resulting in desired outcome
Ability to multi-task, pivot, and change focus when necessary
Knowledge of advertising concepts (traditional and/or online)
Knowledge of online publishing environments
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website development process
Must successfully complete background check

Experience in advertising-related position (e.g. ad operations, product management, analytics,
Experience with online ad systems such as Google DoubleClick For Publishers, data management
platforms, analytics tools, and order management systems.
Experience with project management

In addition, CBS will be guided by applicable federal, state and local laws when considering for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories.
