Description:
Division Overview:
The Social Solutions team is seeking an Associate Manager to join our growing team. Social Solutions is a part of the larger CBS Interactive Integrated Marketing team that oversees advertising solutions for the CBS portfolio of premium brands.

Role Details:
The Social Solutions team is responsible for developing and advancing social sponsorship strategy for CBSi brands, empowering and educating Integrated Marketing and Sales on social solutions for brands, and innovating and improving our social offerings in response to evolving client needs. The Social Solutions team manages the sales process from ideation to execution, including paid media efforts, for sponsored campaigns that run on social media platforms. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in this fast-paced and quickly evolving marketplace. This role will support and specialize in our Tech, Games, and Lifestyle brands.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Manage delivery of social sponsorship programs from start to finish - from ideation, to delivery, to recap reports and positioning for renewals
  • Lead the RFP process, bringing innovative social campaign ideas forward that align with CBS’ strategic initiatives and social audience while organically integrating the advertiser
  • Work closely with many groups across CBSi to ensure every program we pitch/sell is in alignment with the CBS’ brand and is approved by all appropriate parties
  • Once a social program launches, closely monitor and recommend/coordinate any necessary adjustments to content or paid strategies to ensure peak performance for our clients
  • Execute paid marketing campaigns across social platforms, knowing how best to optimize for engagement and efficiency
  • Be a social content expert, recommending executions and formats internally and externally that will resonate with social audiences. The ideal candidate is always a step ahead of the next trend.
  • Act as a key resource to the Sales and Integrated Marketing teams for all things Social, providing insights and support that bring value to the entire Sales and Marketing org

Key Projects:
  • Act as an in-house expert in the many social reporting and analytics platforms used at CBSi, while also exploring new and emerging platforms that may bring value to our social sponsorship efforts
  • Create comprehensive wrap reports or pitch materials for clients for social campaigns, understanding how best to position and explain social campaigns to advertisers in a clear and concise way
  • Act as the in-house expert across CBSi brands on paid media strategy
  • Specialize in key advertiser categories acros CBSi brands, like B2B, CPG, Telcom, and Tech
  • Keep an updated tracking report of the Tech, Games, and Lifestyle social competitive marketplace (TV and digital) in order to understand what our competitors are doing, where clients are spending their ad dollars and what unique executions are running on various channels
Qualifications:
What you bring to the team:
You have - 
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years experience in social, digital media, or relevant marketing or analytics field
  • Experience working on custom content programs that run on social platforms
  • Expertise in paid social media marketing across the social platforms
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude 

You might also have-
  • Experience in the Tech, Lifestyle, and/or Games space is preferred
  • Experience working with/on Sales or Integrated Marketing teams
  • Photoshop and/or video editing skills (for minor changes to programs on the fly)
  • Strong copywriting skills
