This is a vital role in the Integrated Marketing Department – partnering with and providing support to the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing on implementing our advertising products across multiple platforms. In this position, you will work with the Ad Ops, Video, Product, Sales, Project Management, Marketing, and Editorial teams to ensure our clients’ ad programs are implemented flawlessly.
To be successful in the position, you will work with cross functional project teams, develop project plans, maintain project documentation, conduct analysis, and generate various sales and project reports for high profile cross-platform Sales programs on CBSN and CBSNews.com. You will be tasked with launching and managing all aspects of these high- profile sales programs to ensure advertiser and product requirements are met while achieving overall business objectives.
Implement high-priority cross-platform programs on CBSNews.com and CBSN in conjunction with the content, product, ad ops, and video ops teams. Function as the point of contact for Sales and Product and liaise with various departments to ensure programs with custom integrations are executed properly.
Create and maintain timelines with Product teams and ensure that all deliverables are hit, communicating risks to stakeholders and investigating solutions.
Define client goals, delivery guarantees, performance benchmarks and expectations (for both product and sales), assessing and adjusting targets as needed.
Work with audience and marketing teams, as well as senior marketing executives, to develop and hit audience and viewership goals.
Coordinate content promotion with internal teams, optimizing as needed.
Track and assess performance of programs on a regular basis post-launch, providing high-level updates to all stakeholders.
Participate in brainstorms with internal teams to continually improve upon CBS News Digital Platforms package offerings based on past performance of high-priority programs.
Be able to multitask and handle multiple high-priority programs at the same time, acting as a champion for the programs that you manage.
Create detailed recaps for major sponsorships with team members, educating on program insights, learnings, and areas for improvements with goal of improving future programs.
Must be comfortable pulling data from internal/external sources, interpreting it and presenting it in a clear, concise manner to management.
Strong background/understanding of the online media space. Mobile knowledge, OTT knowledge and previous television experiences all are a big plus.
Experience participating in/managing the full life cycle of a digital ad campaign.
Proactive self-starter that can function well in a fast-paced team environment, as well as be able to work independently
Ability to manage multiple projects of different scopes simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks while under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with proven track record of communicating effectively with clients, team members, sales, and upper management
Strong teamwork skills
Highly self-motivated with superior attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused.
Must successfully pass a background check.
